Yup, the very same! In-laws have been going with a group of Valpo U friends every year for what seems like forever... They brought the kids, and then grandkids over the decades. We skipped a few years when the Valpo. group was getting too old, but have passed the torch to our kids who are in charge of picking a weekend each year. Anyone in the extended family that can show up makes the trip. Nice chance for the cousins to spend some time together.

The empty nest.....

What do we do on a beautiful late Thursday afternoon? Bike to the local pub for beer and popcorn!

Today I saw....the International Space Station. It whipped by at 6:42. Didn't get a pic, but my neighbor's eight year old son was outside and he got a kick out of seeing it. He said they are studying space in school right now; he'll have a story to tell on Monday!

V. cool, wtg.

Back here on earth, this was my reward for getting off the couch on a misty, cloudy chilly day:

Beautiful RF!

Around here we mostly have oak trees and they just turn to a rusty color - LATER.

Never much color locally.

Yours was worth getting out of bed!

October is our anniversary, too...this one our 26th later this month. Smiler

Today I was doing my usual midday walk around the building...Normally I have to get out in order to be able to move and look in the distance after hours of Excel spreadsheets.

This guy was here 2 weeks ago but I didn't have my phone with me..today I did. Smiler

Such a retro sort of advert I think, but sure got my attention!

Had to park a few blocks away to get to my tuning today - walked right by the old water tower.
