Ron, is that Turkey Run in Indiana? Nice park. Near my in-laws.
Yup, the very same! In-laws have been going with a group of Valpo U friends every year for what seems like forever... They brought the kids, and then grandkids over the decades. We skipped a few years when the Valpo. group was getting too old, but have passed the torch to our kids who are in charge of picking a weekend each year. Anyone in the extended family that can show up makes the trip. Nice chance for the cousins to spend some time together.

wtgToday I saw....the International Space Station. It whipped by at 6:42. Didn't get a pic, but my neighbor's eight year old son was outside and he got a kick out of seeing it. He said they are studying space in school right now; he'll have a story to tell on Monday!

LLBeautiful RF!
Around here we mostly have oak trees and they just turn to a rusty color - LATER.
Never much color locally.
Yours was worth getting out of bed!

BeeLadyOctober is our anniversary, too...this one our 26th later this month.
Today I was doing my usual midday walk around the building...Normally I have to get out in order to be able to move and look in the distance after hours of Excel spreadsheets.
This guy was here 2 weeks ago but I didn't have my phone with me..today I did.
Such a retro sort of advert I think, but sure got my attention!
