Very cool! - you seem partial to uprights; I'll admit to having a soft spot for these classic old "upright grands". (That's what mine has on the fallboard - 1915ish Thompson from Chicago. I'll have to take a picture for you...) They usually have a "wetter" sound, with smaller dampers and longer strings making the dampening a little slower than we are used to now. These really play well with a mild well tempered tuning to take advantage of the added resonance.
