Here's a couple of older pianos for the weekend bonus: (check the end of the previous page for a wild decorating job!) we've already seen one similar to this harp piano:

Here's one I stumbled across - a Baldwin: Pretty cool! Can you tell I like gaudy pianos? (and gaudy things in general?)

Boy, Ron, I think you've found a match. I wonder how long you guys can keep this up.

Last one, I'm going to bed. Nice and gaudy, the way I like 'em!

Did someone say gaudy? (Beauty is in the eye...) Thanks Zorba for adding to this growing mass of pictures here! Giraffe, or hybrid.... yup! Ron

You're welcome! I really like this one - I'd like it even better if it were a different color (blue doesn't do it for me), but I'd take it as is anyway! When can I expect my complimentary delivery?

I'd give my favorite veil for this one:

Very cool! - you seem partial to uprights; I'll admit to having a soft spot for these classic old "upright grands". (That's what mine has on the fallboard - 1915ish Thompson from Chicago. I'll have to take a picture for you...) They usually have a "wetter" sound, with smaller dampers and longer strings making the dampening a little slower than we are used to now. These really play well with a mild well tempered tuning to take advantage of the added resonance.
