No date change.

The poll was intended to address my curiousity and it did that.
FWIW: the response is pretty strongly "I'm going on either of those weekends" or "Im not going", with tertiary responses in "Other".

I know one person (pj? is my memory right?) would like a hotel roomie to help defray costs.

If anyone hears of good airfares, how about sharing them here?

Are we picking a central hotel for the event?
(are we taking sleeping bags and crashing in the Cunningham Pianos warehouse?)
Is anyone else dragging offspring along?

I have three goals for this trip:
cheese steak sandwich
meet lots of interesting people
cheese steak sandwich
liberty bell
cheese steak sandwich
consider bugging some foodie people I met on another forum
cheese steak sandwich.

Are folks showing up Friday and staying til Monday night?
flying in after church on Sunday and departing after dinner the same?

Continental has a deal from LAX to Philadelphia for $362 per person.
AA for $388.

Not much looking good from SAN yet.

i'm thinking i might have to postpone this visit east.

of course the sellers just might entertain the notion of accepting one of the cash over the contract offers and I won't move after all.

Rich,

I'd appreciate your suggestions for places to stay (maybe a primary and back-up) that would be convenient to the events you have planned.

I intend to spend the entire long weekend, either with my WTF friends or out and about. There are a variety of things I'd like to do in Philadelphia that I haven't done yet.

I think it might be a good idea to see who's going for sure at this point. Copy, paste and add yourself to the list:

1. OT
2. Piq
3. Altoid

A big maybe, possibly not, from me. All depends on where we are at with our repertoire by the end of April.

There's about a 5% chance I might be able to make one day of it.

Not enough to put me in the yes column.

I dont know if Rich or anyone else has already scheduled activities that would make that a bad idea.

I plan to attend whenever, but I know there were at least a couple people - LL and PJ, off the top of my head - who couldn't or probably couldn't make MD weekend. Pique said she could make the weekend of April 15. So, if Rich is available that weekend, maybe we should do a poll running off those two weekends.

FWIW, April 15th would be out for us. Altoid's in school, and I'm still at the opera.
