I keep coming back to this post. Gaza was a crossroads of many civilizations. The architecture, cultural treasures, and cultural sites, to the extent they have been destroyed, have been destroyed forever.

Of course, I'm more concerned about the human carnage, but this is, also, the definition of barbarism.
