Add to which, we're told there's "no money" for x, y, and z regarding the general welfare of the US.

Hardly a day goes by when you can read a newspaper, turn on a television, or go on the internet without finding out Biden's sent yet more money for the Gaza genocide or the failed war in Ukraine.

As for voting, I'll say this-- I resent voter shaming.

A person has an inherent right to vote how he or she will and it's nobody's business.

This is why you pull the curtain behind you before you do it.

You have the right to resent whatever you like, and I have the right to resent how you choose to vote.

As far as how anybody votes ... that is precisely everyone's business. How a person votes affects who will be elected. The results of the election will have massive consequences for many people. So I say it is absolutely my business how other people vote, even if they have a right to vote for whomever they wish.

The best way to ensure the anonymity of that voting curtain (which, by the way, doesn't exist in most places any more ... it's more like a short-wall cubicle) is not to announce how you plan to vote. If you announce how you plan to vote, you've given up the anonymity that you desire.

What about the practical aspect of voter shaming? It doesn't work. It might even backfire.

I don't know about Republicans but it's the modus operandi of Democrats.

So, it's played a part in getting us to this hell we find ourselves in now.

How many Palestinians are of all ages are held by Israel in its detention/ torture facilities without legal cause or moral justification?

Why it's personal to me.

And as people were put in concentration camps for reasons of race based ideology, based on 'eugenics,' and for any reason deemed convenient

I would have been put in a concentration camp for two obvious reasons--

1. Having a mother or a father who was Jewish
2. Homosexuality

And considering the fact that many of my ancestors died in Nazi concentration camps

I will not consent to it in the name of political slogans nor for any reason at all.
