Biden's "have it both ways" political stunts have fooled nobody.

Add to which, we're told there's "no money" for x, y, and z regarding the general welfare of the US.

Hardly a day goes by when you can read a newspaper, turn on a television, or go on the internet without finding out Biden's sent yet more money for the Gaza genocide or the failed war in Ukraine.

As for voting, I'll say this-- I resent voter shaming.

A person has an inherent right to vote how he or she will and it's nobody's business.

This is why you pull the curtain behind you before you do it.

You have the right to resent whatever you like, and I have the right to resent how you choose to vote.

As far as how anybody votes ... that is precisely everyone's business. How a person votes affects who will be elected. The results of the election will have massive consequences for many people. So I say it is absolutely my business how other people vote, even if they have a right to vote for whomever they wish.

The best way to ensure the anonymity of that voting curtain (which, by the way, doesn't exist in most places any more ... it's more like a short-wall cubicle) is not to announce how you plan to vote. If you announce how you plan to vote, you've given up the anonymity that you desire.

What about the practical aspect of voter shaming? It doesn't work. It might even backfire.

I don't know about Republicans but it's the modus operandi of Democrats.

So, it's played a part in getting us to this hell we find ourselves in now.

Still 100 civilian hostages held in tunnels underneath the streets of Rafah, abducted 8 months ago by the war criminal Palestinian government & army.

Perhaps it's too much to ask that any good & decent Palestinians actively help the Israelis rescue those hostages and fight against the war criminals holding them.

$320,000,000.00 washed out to sea!

Biden's latest PR disaster.

A few points--

1. All they had to do was open border points for trucks in the first place. So why this "floating pier" anyway?

2. As a matter if fact it was planned by Israeli (specifically, extreme right wingers to state the obvious) as an infrastructure build out. It never did have anything to do with delivering humanitarian aid. (Yes, I can cite this, but, I'm not the only one who knows how to Google.)

3. $320,000,000.00? What could that done for the social safety net, or for that matter, desperately needed infrastructure improvements in the US?

https://youtu.be/fMb_FanFwTk?si=8dunpodnOmTIFPmC

There's a certain poetic justice in this debacle. Why not get some theater of the absurd entertainment? It's not as if the taxpayers' money was ever going buy anything of value.

Omg.

This is an example of the nonsense Americans are seeing every day.

IMO, if you don't think this will affect the chances of Biden getting elected then you're dreaming.

For Israel, a rare day of joy amid bloodshed as 4 hostages are rescued alive

The retention of hostages cost 125 Palestinan lives. How many more hostages will Hamas continue to hold?

As many as it wants.

How many Palestinians are of all ages are held by Israel in its detention/ torture facilities without legal cause or moral justification?

Hint-- it's well over 1,000.

There is no moral nor practical justification for genocide.

No Zionist talking point will change this fact.

Why it's personal to me.

1. It is a genocide.

As words have definitions, there is no person who speaks a language who has the ability to alter this fact.

As it fits the definition of genocide.

And,

As the genocide committed by Nazi Germany was, according to its
own typology, a genocide against Jews, other persons deemed not to be of 'correct' descent,' i.e. Gypsies (as they were called at the time), Blacks, etc., Homosexuals (as was the term used at the time), political dissidents, etc.

And as people were put in concentration camps for reasons of race based ideology, based on 'eugenics,' and for any reason deemed convenient

I would have been put in a concentration camp for two obvious reasons--

1. Having a mother or a father who was Jewish
2. Homosexuality

And considering the fact that many of my ancestors died in Nazi concentration camps

I will not consent to it in the name of political slogans nor for any reason at all.

Crimes against humanity are crimes against all individuals, everywhere.
