What's the poor girl playing, anyway?

Looks like she got hot while playing and threw off half her garb!

Claggett Wilson Grand Piano painting

Claggett Wilson painted this grand piano as well as the murals at Ten Chimneys - this once black Steinway became known as Noel Coward’s piano. Noel Coward was a great friend of the Lunts and spent much time at Ten Chimneys.

Piano replaying its own demise

...made of an old upright pub piano, stage lighting, and audio. whilst the piano was was being taken apart with hammers, the sound was recorded and replayed through the installation raw and unmastered. this created an eerie effect of the piano replaying its own demise...

Art-Deco styled Wurlitzer Butterfly Baby Grand built in 1938
Just a repost with a few more angles and interesting technical info

Notice the adjustment screw on the bridge between the first two tenor bass strings in the first two pictures on the far left. This screw adjusts pressure on a floating bar that is attached to the soundboard of the piano between the rim and a center point on the soundboard. As the note is played, pressure can be increased or decreased on this bar by turning the screw to achieve optimal tonal output. This is a brilliant design for such a small piano!

Chris Gilmour produces incredibly detailed replicas of real life objects using only cardboard, a cutter and glue.

It wouldn't hurt too much if you fall on this piano.

See this and many other amazing objects created the same way: http://laconchadetuhermana.tar...ras-Acartonadas.html
