Modern-luxury-piano-room-interior

Piano far less grand, but it does not mean that it has to be treated the least responsible. A piano can be placed in a classic interior design...

A Piano Spectacular for 80 Fingers

FOR the promoters of tonight's Steinway Spectacular at Hamer Hall, finding eight grand pianos for rehearsals in Melbourne was always going to be tough.
The Steinway Spectacular returns for an extraordinary music event...
The eight pianists will work as an ensemble to perform new arrangements of classical favourites, including Ravel’s Bolero, Rhapsody in Blue, Percy Grainger’s Merriment, Pictures at an Exhibition, Handel Medley, the Saint-Saens Organ Symphony and a new 80-finger version of Chopsticks!

Klaverens house in Sweden, an Amazing place and an amazing backstory, however sad that may be, but similar in most places - the dying out of the European piano tradition and this represents an attempt to preserve a little of the heritage.

"In Sweden there have been about 280 factories for making hammer instruments (pianos). The first workshops opened their doors c. 1750, the last factories closed c. 1985. A tradition of 235 years is broken, maybe for ever."
