That can probably be arranged...or one just like it. Ask around among rebuilders if they have any landfill pianos going out the door with legs that look like Grecian urns, and they'd probably be willing to saw them off for you.

Cool detail work on this Seiler. I especially like the "widow's walk" detailing on the top:

Hey, why is that Chickering on the previous page floating in the clouds? "Heavenly music", perhaps?

Actually, I think it was tossed out of an overloaded cargo plane! Evil

Oh My Goddess! Is this beautiful or what?

This has a really weird name, which is giving the forum software fits. Copy and paste time:

I think it is a Chickering.

I have an old "tiger-oak" one (like that Price & Teeple) that I left in a house 30 years ago that the owners have now asked me to take back since I'm moving back to my old hometown. Which reminds me that I forgot to mention that to the piano mover today when I scheduled the two to go from here tomorrow... and reminds me that I hadn't even considered where to put it since I hadn't even yet figured out where to put number 2, much less number 3. (Hoping for inspiration when I walk in the door to meet them Friday.) And leaves me grateful I at least whittled it down to 2 here from 5. WhoMe)
