| I suppose I may as well add our Schnauzer to the thread. Took him for his last trip to the vet yesterday. It was overdue. -------------------------------- Several people have eaten my cooking and survived.

| I’m so sorry, Chas. Even if you know it’s coming, it’s still really hard. |

| Thank you to each of you. Thought it did not bother me. Thought I would get a pup. I looked. I do not want another pup. Brutus will be a hard act to follow. -------------------------------- Several people have eaten my cooking and survived.

Yeah, it's a hard hit to lose a good pup. |

Thanks, piqué. You always wonder if you've done the right things. Quirt is really amazing at managing the animals' care, so I feel like they're getting what they need and deserve, but then something like this happens. Lexie certainly enjoyed thirteen years of princesshood. You could tell that she enjoyed it. |

| I hadn't looked into this thread for awhile, but grew curious as to why it was growing. I was taken aback by the sad turn that what had started out as something of a lark had taken. I'm sorry to hear of so many pets expiring recently and, as a pet owner myself, know how important these family members become to us. My sympathy to all.
