Some homes just don't have much light in the piano room - except for the lamp that I have to take off while tuning...

They might, but the mini-mag fits in my case and takes regular AA batteries - the LED replacement bulb means this combination lights for a VERY long time before needing new batteries. I carried a cheap LED clip light for a while, but I just needed to replace the batteries too often. I do have a mini pezl headlamp that gets less use...
