Help me daisies LL - wonders never cease! In this pic one could perhaps not wish for a greater concert hall, maybe they should try this with a real piano and concertise to the whole community...

Hey, that's one of my fellow countrymen/women!

(BTW, Utenos beer - whose logo is on the balloon - is quite good.)

The Ivory Trade and the State of Connecticut - From the art exhibition Piano As Art at the Flinn Gallery, 2012 Artists Penny Putnam and Shauna Holiman
"In 1862, the height of both the Civil War and the Industrial Revolution in the United States, Samuel Merritt Comstock and George A. Cheney joined forces in West Centerbrook, CT (not long after renamed Ivoryton) to form Comstock, Cheney & Company to manufacture ivory goods. Their firm grew rapidly to become one of two largest manufacturers of piano actions and keyboards in the world,"

Evans Bros. Piano
Made of solid and veneer mahogany, this Evans Bros. piano was hand-carved and of a limited edition, only two of which are now known to exist; it received honors at the 1910 Chicago World Fair.

Like BIG, the movie.
Wish that had spawned more big outdoor pianos like the one above.

Backwards piano man plays Mario theme like a boss
Since he was 14, pianist Jason Lyle Black has been honing the unorthodox technique of playing the piano while sitting in reverse. Can you imagine all the muscle memory you'd have to fight against to pull off such a feat? I guess it wouldn't be much different from crossing your arms during play, but it's impressive to watch nonetheless.
