I remember when my piano was being picked up to be worked on. The removals guy asked me how long the piano had been in the room and I told him it was a good few years. He pointed out to me that some kind of retaining part hadn't been fitted correctly or at all and that nothing was preventing the leg at the rear of the piano from moving away from the piano's body! Weighing in at around 480 kgs, a collapse would have been catastrophic! Needless to say, it's quite secure now Smiler
