Also reading Fear. Reading about the economic stuff at the moment. Sad, that Cohn is no longer at the White House.

Since I didn't get my order from Amazon in time for my trip, I hopped around the corner from my boss's place to a real live, fantastic, independent book store (there used to be so many of them) and found this fascinating history of colors. Very well written, full of esoterica. The Secret Lives of Color

That sounds like a line from my grandfather. And he wasn't very original.

I liked this so much I revived my book group! We’ll be discussing this next month. I liked this better than both Glass Castle and Hillbilly Elegy. More relatable, somehow.

Brave Companions. David McCullough. Great stuff! I was pleased to learn that Mary Anna likes the book and actually teaches from it.

Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men I’m only two chapters in but I highly recommend it based on what I’ve read so far. I’m listening to the audiobook, read by the author, and she does an excellent job narrating as well. https://www.amazon.com/Invisib...1419729071/ref=nodl_

I just finished the Prague Sonata by Bradford Morrow. A musical mystery/thriller about a lost 18th century sonata of unknown origin. Not perfect, but enjoyable. Then I read Finders Keepers, the second of Stephen King’s Bill Hodges trilogy (the first was Mr. Mercedes). Not sure I want to read the third right now. So what should I read next? I’m all caught up with Faye Longchamp! Although I’m doing a lazy re-read from the beginning; it’s like hanging out with old frinds.

I don’t remember who recommended this to me, but I’m loving it. One for the Blackbird, One for the Crow, by Olivia Hawker.
