I think the NYT kept Wordle free after they bought it from the guy who started it. I think most of the other games and puzzles are subscription only.

I think for things like the crossword puzzle, it's an additional cost on top of the subscription. I'm not sure if you can just get the crossword puzzles, etc. without a subscription to the news content.

NYT subscriptions. You can get games only, but it's cheaper to get the deal on the regular All Access subscription, which includes games and cooking and other stuff..
