serial number 250, the mechanism by G. Ploucahrt/J. Huron, Blois, France, having barley twist carved supports, the lacquered allover gilt decorations depicting figures in landscapes with dragon detailing;

Spiral Piano Cake
This is a 10 in and an 8 in creme bruelle with butter almond bc carved to look like a spiral piano is winding up the side. It was for my daughter's 20th birthday this week. Piano keys are fondant. from http://www.cakecentral.com/g/i...no-keys-are-fondant/

he Regence Style Concert Grand Piano that was created by Sebastien Erard Paris. With its rather grand length of 246 cm, this unique masterpiece was first seen participating in the the International Universal Exposition of Industry way back in 1889 in Paris.
