This a relatively obscure first album for BS&T...before David Clayton Thomas there was Al Kooper fresh from the Blues Project. This is a fantastic album that never grows old.... jf

And at the same time, Kooper released this gem with Steven Stills and Michael Bloomfield. this was certainly his year (1968?)...and mine.... [For a bonus point, on what well known troubador's song did Al Kooper play the organ? Name the singer and the song and the album.] jf

Bob Dylan, Like a Rolling Stone, Highway 61 Revisited. By the way, my favorite version of the title track is Johnny Winter's. And yes, Super Session is a super album. Big Al
