Could have had (but had to say no) PCP visit this morning so now have to wait a week. Then I can get the ENT recommendation.

The good news is I'll get medical care, even if I wish it could happen sooner.

I had to cancel an appointment for two teeth cleanings.

Can you go to an urgent care, like today, and have them look in your ear Daniel?

If you have an infection, that can be quite painful, but a little drop of antibiotic medicine or other topical treatment can be quite effective, both for healing and for pain.

If you have trauma, for example, the surface of your ear drum is damaged (scrapped, for example), or part of your outer ear canal has a scrap or a scratch, that can lead to an infection.

Hopefully you can go to an urgent care place tomorrow then? There should be places open in the evening as well?

Finally, a have an appointment in the morning.

SK, the reason I didn't go to urgent care is because they dont give recommendations my insurance takes. I asked the Dr in the ER about antibiotics and he said no. It seemed like a good precautionary measure to me.
