I'm not eating anything served in a box that says "Pissed Meal". I've heard way too many stories.

And One Million Moms is pissed. (But frankly, when is that cranky lot not pissed? They're perpetually pissed.) From their press release...

quote:
Burger King has announced new meal boxes that “let you choose how you feel.” No one is “happy” all the time,” Burger King said in a press release. Dubbed as “Real Meals,” customers will be able to order Whopper-based meal boxes in a variety of different moods, but “happy” isn’t one of them.

Mood boxes include the Pissed, Blue, Salty, YAAAS (slang for yes), and the DGAF meal – an acronym for, “Don’t give a f—-.” Though the Real Meals are Whopper-based meals, the boxes are replicas of Happy Meal boxes and will, therefore, attract children.

No matter the target market, this campaign is a marketing disaster. Burger King’s #FEELYOURWAY campaign is irresponsible and offensive to customers. One Million Moms is particularly offended by the boxed meals Pissed and DGAF.

Burger King needs to know parents do not approve! TAKE ACTION: If you agree that this marketing campaign is inappropriate, please sign our petition urging Burger King to remove the boxed meals “Pissed” and “DGAF” from their menu immediately.

Don't particularly care about any mood indication printed on the box ... if it's good food I'll eat it.

As for the "One Million Moms", they should step back and rethink their parental failings on even thinking about feeding their precious little angels such fatty, salty, environmentally karma negative fast food as Burger King.

OK, just kidding, I don't really have any strong feeling about how those parents feel.

No worries, then. We’re talking Burger King.

What they should be pissed about is how little food there is in those boxes. Calories yes, food no.

It would seem to court catastrophe, wouldn't it?

I don't think this campaign is going to last very long. I wonder if it would be worthwhile to go buy one of each meal and store the boxes away for 20 years as collectibles?

I could feed the meals to the dogs. Or store them with the boxes - the shelf life is likely the same.

Why does anyone think I care what mood they're in?

Why does anyone think that they're entitled to act on every emotional impulse they have? Whatever happened to self control?

Jeez.

The dogs? I don't think they'd last that long.

The best part, though, is the DGAF meal doesn't really have to contain anything at all.

Wait... what??? They don't actually exist? Well sh*t. If I went to BK to get a DGAF meal and found out the whole thing was a joke, yeah, I would be extremely p*ssed off!
