I'd say, I resolve to read more world news, but I probably mean more British news, which I hope will give a different view of the world. More BBC, more Guardian.

Have a look at the South China Morning Post. They cover a lot of interesting topics you don't see much of in American media. Their coverage of American stories is interesting as well.
