I’ve stopped using them, though I have a zillion photos there. I was finally able to get back in after all their threatening emails, it took me awhile to reremember my password. Pretty sure I uploaded my avatar directly from my computer. It’s blurry because it’s too small a file, and I no longer have photoshop to fix it)

There is a new, slimmed down version of Photoshop that is free. It's called Photoshop Express. It works very well for simple stuff like resizing images, maybe even better than Photoshop does.

I use postimage.org these days. And I've gotten into the habit of setting the photos to expire after 30 days for a lot of stuff I post here or at PW. I'm paranoid like that. I should probably go and see if I can get into my photobucket ...

I, too, gave up on pb a while back. http://well-temperedforum.grou...341033366#3341033366 I am using imgur with more success now. Upload the picture, then click the link for sharing links and copy the bb one. It's just very hard to find your pictures again. Maybe tag then with some unique string of characters that you can later search for.

You can also host your avatar right here on WTF. I think it has to be 100x100px or smaller.
