Mark, I hope you enjoy this new phase of your life. Working for someone else after being self-employed for so long will be a bit of a transition.

I recall a bit of the change when I joined my last employer. Their client base was largely public sector entities like DOTs and public governments or authorities. While the technical aspects of my work were very similar, the pace and non-technical requirements of the projects were substantially different from the private-sector work I had done througout my career before that time. The transition was somewhat of a shock.
