If they made it a little smaller I’d buy one.

Weeds should have a hard time adapting to that methodology compared to how they evolve resistance to herbicides. Agriculture fights an unceasing battle against weeds.

I wonder if the machine can eradicate deep-rooted weeds like Canada thistle? I also wonder how close it can work to the vegetable plants it's weeding? I wonder how much it costs?

Will be watching the ag publications I receive for news
about laser weeders.

Skeptical, but chemical costs have soared. Most herbicides are made from petroleum products. My costs for fertilizer have more than tripled. Farmers had to irrigate a lot this year, which requires a lot of diesel in
a very expensive market.

This article says they cost between $25K and $50K and that they’re working on smaller models.

Seems like a bargain when compared to the cost of chemicals. They’re sold out through 2022.

Reminds me of the Roomba that ran over and smeared dog doo doo all over a carpet.

If the farmers on my land buy one I want to go and watch it. American marketing is "ready, fire, aim".
Hope they get the bugs worked out soon.
