I imagine that house gets hot in the summer. With all those ceilings with exposed beams, I doubt that there is much insulation in the roof, and I don't see any evidence of air conditioning. Aside from that, it's a very pretty house and well furnished. The house we rented when we lived in Australia had no HVAC system. We were only a few miles from the coast so the sea breezes tempered things out quite a bit. We bought a window air conditioner and put it in the living room. It was a reverse cycle unit and we actually used it more for heat in the cool winter weather than cooling in the summer, but we all lived in the living room for a couple of weeks when a steady wind from the west took temperatures over 100 degrees during the day and only a little cooler at night.
