Low water landscaping
We've had enough rain this year that we aren't being rationed, but I'd still like change a lot of my yard over to drought-tolerant plants. The problem is that most drought tolerant landscapers look too much like brush.

I saw this one last week and it may have changed my mind. I really like that they have mixed the shapes and colors and they got the spacing right - hard to do.

LA is coastal chaparral, read desert. When I first moved there I was astounded at how much water was used to maintain the illusion of green, especially when most of it was piped in from elsewhere. Low water landscaping should be code.

You SoCalzians get all those nifty succulents that can't really be grown reliably in Phoenix.
