We've had enough rain this year that we aren't being rationed, but I'd still like change a lot of my yard over to drought-tolerant plants. The problem is that most drought tolerant landscapers look too much like brush. I saw this one last week and it may have changed my mind. I really like that they have mixed the shapes and colors and they got the spacing right - hard to do. ![]()

LA is coastal chaparral, read desert. When I first moved there I was astounded at how much water was used to maintain the illusion of green, especially when most of it was piped in from elsewhere. Low water landscaping should be code.
