It’s so terrible. I’m sorry to see it. Did you live in old town Lahaina, or near there? We spent some time up in Kahana, and also Ka’anapali Beach and Kihei.

It is so very, very sad. I heard people were being rescued from the ocean, as that is the only place they could flee to as the fires encroached. I cannot imagine what they're going through.

Yes, I lived in Lahaina Town, but at a higher elevation than Front Street. There are a lot of historical sites and buildings on Front Street. I hope they weren't damaged.
