Ice cream is my favorite food.

My favorite brand is Publix Greenlee organic vanilla.

Vanilla is my favorite flavor full stop.

Unfortunately, I'm lactose intolerant.

I can't eat ice cream very often.

I have work arounds like putting vanilla extract in lactose free milk.

Anyway, I think this history is interesting.

I'm going to try sorbet.

I don't remember ever having it.

I wonder if gelato is something you would tolerate. I read that it does have different ingredients than ice cream.

I splurged on one of these a few years ago when the quality of store bought ice cream was going down and the prices going up.

Worth every penny. The ice cream this freezer makes is better than anything available in stores. The Nutella ice cream I make comes close to quality gelato.

It can freeze several preparations: Sorbet, sherbet, gelato, ice cream, ...

Pricey but so worth it.

Non-dairy ice cream is great these days. It is the reason I have not lost a lot of weight as I deal with GERD.

I first discovered non-dairy ice cream a long time ago. At that time the supermarket chain stores weren’t carrying non-dairy ice cream. There was a mom and pop owned health foods store right across the street from where I lived and I bought it there.
