They just took Jeff in for an angiogram. The doctor said that if it shows anything they’ll operate immediately.

It’s amazing that they can set up something like that so quickly.

If it's an aneurysm, which it sounds like they suspect given they did not like the cat scan, they may be able to fix it during the cerebral angiogram. It's called endovascular coiling.

So it looks like everything is going to be all right. Whew!

The angiogram didn’t show anything and he feels pretty good now. There’s an MRI scheduled for tomorrow but the docs say he likely had a really small blood vessel burst that healed by itself. His condition is probably hereditary but not likely to happen again.

Unfortunately for Jeff, they’ve diagnosed high blood pressure - rare at 38 - and he’s going to need medication. They also want him to clean up his diet, which is going to be tough for a guy who doesn’t like vegetables.
