I have all of my mom's old pattern books and magazines from the 1960s through probably the 1990s. I'm thinking about putting up an ad on Craigslist and just give them away. I'd rather see someone get some use out of them rather than throw them away.

WTF knitters and crafters... Is there any demand for these?

I donated the ones I didn’t want any more; is there a local knitting guild?

There's a yarn shop not too far away. I could check there.

And I think there's a knit and crochet group at the senior center. They might be interested.

That sounds good. I didn’t want to just throw mine away, and I didn’t want to go through the hassle of listing and shipping. My local knitters guild was a great way to share.
