Maybe I'll actually read all those articles about him in the NYTs...

No! Wait! I just remembered (this is kind of embarrassing) that I bought one of those Great Courses, the one on Beethoven's Piano Sonatas, but I never listened to it. Maybe I should start tomorrow.

it's my dad's 99th birthday. i'll be remembering him by listening to his most favorite music of all time--the late Beethoven string quartets.

My boat is named Fugue. A racing sailboat requires a lot of coordinated moves.
Sailors ask how "Fugue" is pronounced.
I tell them and then offer an alternative, two syllable pronunciation.
