McSorley's is indeed still there, and it retains some of that old-timey atmosphere, down to the sawdust on the floor. But I think the current clientele is mostly frat-boy college types. However, it's been many years since I set foot in the place, so that could have changed. I heard they make their own beer in the basement.

I was there once too, I think they claim to be the oldest continually operating bar in NY, having been a speakeasy during prohibition. I remember the sawdust on the floor and the ancient urinals that must have weighed a quarter ton each.
