 | Are there other nearby airports that you can check for cheaper airfare? Don't know how many people in your party will be flying, but if you have 4 people and can shave $100 per person by using a different airport, that's $400 with a fraction that can go to ground transportation to/from that alternative airport. Good luck and safe travels. |

 | Not sure about holiday weekends, but we usually fly LAX - CLE for about $120 round trip. Brutal Spirit Airlines redeye, but it's cheap. --------------------------------

 | Thanksgiving is the busiest travel weekend of the year. Airlines always jack up prices. |

I was thinking the same thing. --------------------------------

$350-$375. We can fly out of any of three airports, so usually there's something that works for less. |

 | Then it's the bad timing to blame. Can you travel for a full week to avoid the holiday gouging? --------------------------------
