And for brands, I was a long time Angel Soft user - gentle on the behind and most importantly, doesn't clog the plumbing (we had huge plumbing issues when we tried "upgrading" to charmin -- apparently it doesn't degrade well enough for our septic!).

But for the last few years I've been trying to boycott the Koch Brothers companies so now I bounce back and forth between various store brands (all very dusty and probably made by the Koch Brothers anway for all I know) and Scott Comfort Plus. Sadly haven't found anything I like as much as Angel Soft so I still occasionally cave and buy it if I see it on a good sale.

It doesn't matter to me in the least.
