Diagnosis is pattern recognition. AI is better at that than we are. The reason radiologists get replaced first is just because the inputs are standardized and machine readable.

I've had AI-assisted mammograms for years. From what I understand, they can quickly and accurately detect a "clean" mammogram, leaving the humans to look at scans that are questionable. They're supposedly also very good at detecting early stage cancers. I think it's a great advancement, personally--at least the way it's being used with mammograms.
