Our skies have been hazy and strange looking for the last several days, but it's particularly noticeable today. Smoke from the fires out west has traveled our way.....

Sorry the smoke is there.
We got the first good rain in a long time last night.
Today is is clear and calm. Was great to get out and walk around. Hope this lasts a while.

Very cool map. I wondered why there was a little red dot at the end of Florida. When I clicked on it, it told me the name of the fire and how many acres were involved.

We had some really bad days (in the red)last week and over the weekend, where we had to close up and just run the AC, but we’ve had a bit of a break, in the yellow ( moderate) for a couple of days. Supposed to get bad again this weekend.
