This guy. This guy!

Good grief.

One of the best tradesmen I’ve ever worked with.

When we moved here my knees decided they weren’t going to work any more. Arthritis - just like my Mom. They’re much better now but at the time stairs were nearly impossible. Dark time, very dark.

Enter one Jesse McClintok, who turned out to be Shane P. Knowlton. Found him on Facebook. He worked for me for about three weeks and I’ve never worked with a guy with better skills or better work ethic. The guy could do anything, and launched in to each task with gusto!

After the third week he told me his real name and he told me the story. He couldn’t work for me any more and was going to hide out in the woods somewhere in Pennsylvania. Not sure why he told me - he could have just disappeared.

If his story is to be believed, the guy he shot deserved it. He was abusing Shane’s children. Two biker gangs were involved - Jeez!

Welcome to Ohio.

Many tragedies all around.
If the child abuse allegations are true, I am sorry that the children were abused.
Otherwise I am sorry that the other guy got shot for no good reason.
Any regardless of which story is true, now it looks like the children will lose their father for quite some time, another sorry outcome.

Update on the story.

Shane was acquitted in the first shooting (self defense). I was glad to see that but it seems Shane has trouble making good decisions. He got involved in some sort of bar fight that ended up in another shooting and this time they put him away for a while.

Probably best for all concerned.
