I found that I liked it a lot more than I expected. I was pleased that they treated the whole topic with a bit of nuance and respected that their viewers might watch with their brains engaged.

I really liked the other best picture candidates. American Fiction was another one that went beyond the surface level story, rather unexpectedly. I haven't seen Pretty Things (I think that's the name? Emma Stone won for it.)

When next we're in New Mexico I might hop over to the Abiquiu area (Ghost Ranch is there) to see the Oppenheimer movie site.

Without realizing it, we went on a Christmas train ride from the little station in Lamy where scenes were filmed.

They also used the train!
