Just to clarify....My criticism of the administration was directed at the stupid ones who got in the way of the people who should have been calling the shots. I completely agree that Birx did the best she could. There was no way she could fix the stupid at the helm, and she did the science as best she could considering the circumstances.

It does point to the standard dilemma: is creating change more likely to happen from the inside or the outside? I think there are valid arguments for both views. There's no way anyone is coming out of Trump's administration with their reputation intact.... people are just too angry. But America does love a comeback story. | |||
