Missed me so far. A couple of groups I’ve been avoiding in person, like my ukulele groups, have nearly 100% infection rate. Lots of folks in my office have gotten it, but I have not actually gone into the office ever so that hasn’t affected me.

Hi

Me and Mr. SK. Neither of us has had so much as a sniffle since Jan. 2020.

I'm back to working on campus every day, and I have maybe 80 students this semester. So far I'm consistently masking everywhere except when I'm outside or alone in my office.

Let's see how long I 1) am able to keep up masking while teacher, and 2) am able to keep dodging the 'rona...

Don’t jinx us!

Our household, and our adult kids, hanging in there. The kids are more cautious than we are (they don’t live with us).

I’m teaching on a cruise ship next week. Hope I continue to dodge!

My wife and I have not yet had it. In part, that may be attributed to my confinement to home other than doctor's appointments since I exited hospital and skilled nursing care. That may change if I can get out of the wheelchair after future surgery on the bad knee.

We are also vaccinated and boostered. One of my daughters would seem to have COVID quite some time ago based on the presence of antibodies in her blood detected when she was donating, but she has no recollection of ever having symptoms. One son and his wife have definitely had it, confirmed by symptoms and positive tests. Their remaining three siblings have apparently escaped so far.

Eeker

Does that mean you'll be on the cruise the whole week, like sleeping etc., or just going on aboard for a few hours to do your teaching and then go home?

Will you mask while teaching?

So far so good for me and SO.

But we know many people who have it, have had it, or like us, might have it, or have had it.

But enough of my alliteration.

Lol.

So far as I know I have never gotten it. Thought I was having asthma trouble for about a week due to the new puppy.
My lungs cleared and I have fine since.
I isolate well, so long as the internet is working. Smiler

I know what you mean. Because of Covid, I haven’t had a date in over 10 years. (Doug - cleaning up a joke that was going around in 2020…)

So far Mr. Nina and I have escaped unscathed. Our son has had it multiple times, our daughter never tested positive but I suspect she had it. (She never actually tested, not that she tested and it was never positive.)
