That is very true. I had to manage a FAR more modest property with 3 ponds , a pool and tennis courts and it takes a lot of work.

OTOH, a whole lot of tradesmen worked for a number of years on the project, and a whole lot of staff will be required to maintain it. I'm reminded of English towns where the only reason for the town to exist is to provide housing for those engaged in maintaining the manor. There are worse things to do with your money.
