And the income threshold at which you stop paying into it gets raised a few thou every year. Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos pay Medicare tax on just the first $200k of their wages... if they get "wages" at all.

Nope. Don’t change anything else. Just change eligibility and let the market adjust. Monitor what happens and do it agin in 2023. One page bill.
