No way I’d do that. I worry about the California license plates as it is

Maybe your California plates made him question himself already. Time for a declaration.

My daughter ran a flag that kind of looks like the one, up our flagpole a few years ago.

It's getting pretty tattered but it has been flying for about 4.5 years now.

I don't know about that. My neighbors on both left and right, and directly across the street all have flags on display and it hasn't shaken my own perspective.

Just makes me nervous. It was bad enough when the neighbor across the way kept a Trump sign up LONG after the election and the Washington insurrection - one so big it was almost a billboard.

This is our flag.

Other than that it's Halloween or the good old stars and stripes. In original colors.

I will age myself when I say that I was raised with the rule that the three things you never talked about were money, religion and politics.

Times have certainly changed, and not necessarily for the better. Being in this constant state of anger, warfare and victimhood (and for many, driven ultimately by fear) must be exhausting.

I think we're identifying ourselves here by driving hybrids.

I have a neighbor who is a confirmed leftie but insists on flying the standard American flag, just to affirm that the US flag does not belong to just one political group.

I don’t want to be “that guy”, but I wonder how the HOA feels about that flag.

Seems like it’s bad for property values. If lived next door to that guy I’d list the house.
