I sing in 2 choirs, one in the suburbs and one in the city. The Chicago Chorale just finished our spring season with concerts this weekend that were a joy to experience. https://chicagoclassicalreview...ide-ranging-program/ The reviewer was at the concert where the space participated in the music. Even during warm-ups, the room 'sang' back to us - not with an echo, but just a sustain that is hard to describe. Especially on pieces with tone clusters, the sound when we stopped singing was just magical. Fun!

Judging by that review, your choir has made a triumphal return from the pandemic-imposed hiatus. Congratulations Will you be part of the tour to Spain? Big Al

It's my first year with the group, so I didn't sign up for the tour. I've been back and forth whether I would continue with them... The director has a unique (to me) way of rehearsing and directing which makes singing equal parts frustrating and fun hearing the voices come together. At this point, I'm singing next year...

Interesting. Would like to hear you and would like to hear the group if you get a recording. My singing "career" was very short. Might have been funny for anyone watching.

All the recordings I have seen online are old... Not sure if they have plans to include newer videos more representative of the current group?
