More family COVID.
Sorry to hear, jodi. Sending good vibes to your brother and neighbor...and to you.....it starts to feel a little overwhelming, doesn't it.....

Just heard from my brother - rapid test came back positive. Heart is fine, and his O2 levels are fine - and he was told the chest pain he is experiencing is normal/common. they have asked him to take 325 mg of aspirin a day (I’m assuming to help prevent blood clots). He was started on antibiotics yesterday, hopefully he will start to feel better soon.

My daughter's suspected COVID case included episodes of chest pain and very rapid heartbeat (so fast it would wake her up in terror). She never had breathing issues. It took maybe six weeks, but she recovered just in time for the start of the school year.

Here's hoping that's all it is for your brother.

Just talked to my neighbor - her husband was able to come home today, which is great news too.

Yes - my brother talked about the rapid heartbeat being kind of scary.

Hope your family members and friends get through this without long-term damage.
Hopefully the vaccine chain of supply will be able to meet the demand soon,

It was awful because she never got a diagnosis. They even sent her to a cardiologist. We still suspect COVID but can’t know for sure.

My wife's sister just tested positive. She's in a nursing home with MS. She's not on great shape in the best of times and the immunosupressants she is on may make things worse.

She got her vaccination last week. Frowner

Oh, ****.

Maybe I will get the vaccine.

I'm so sorry, Jodi.

To everyone here being challenged by it, actually.

Sad for everyone getting tagged with this filthy bug.
May they recover without sequelae.

The vaccines are in the nick of time - or perhaps a nick too late for some.

Need to get the distributions up to snuff.
