As long as you're using distilled water and are careful about taking care of the tools.
Do you remember the story a few years back about the death that was attributed to neti-pot use by someone who was just using regular tap water? IIRC... My mother and I both stopped using them after that.

(And yes, SK, I will boil my water first. My sons pointed out that ghastly story about the woman who contracted some flesh-eating amoeba from using a Neti-Pot without sterile water!)

If I-1 hears about it he will blather about it at a presser and the next day thousands of his followers will be stuffing nettles and pot up their noses.
Hopefully he doesn't combine a neti pot recommendation with his previous suggestion of disinfectant...
