James Diaz, MD, MHA, MPH & TM, Dr PH, Professor and Head of Environmental Health Sciences at LSU Health New Orleans School of Public Health, has proposed a possible explanation for the severe lung complications being seen in some people diagnosed with COVID-19. The manuscript was published by Oxford University Press online in the Journal of Travel Medicine.

I'm sorry, Chas. When I'm finding this stuff I've been posting it, just in case it might affect one of us.
I think there's another study on the topic that I heard is embargoed until 1 today. I'll try to chase it down and get it posted here, whether it reinforces this first one or not.

Seems like it's still pretty speculative and that the mainstream experts are saying to stay the course.
But clearly a good idea to keep an eye on where this research goes.
