Bowlus trailers are back. Super nice but they’re not cheap. Check out the built in sliding dog bowls.

We sold our Lance trailer It was like towing a house. I plan to get rid of the truck as soon as I find something to drive. Will probably buy a hybrid.

Lovely. Can I get a good ol’ 1960s American body-on-frame V8-powered station wagon to pull it with? And can you flip it upside down and row it across a lake?

I saw a tent trailer built like that. The top of the trailer was a removable aluminum rowboat. ![]()

As for the wagon, yes you can. Longroofs are in something of a renaissance so prices are up, but weighed against the price of a new car the prices aren’t too bad. Depends on how much you like carburetors and 8 mpg.

This one has a 429 - should work. Not sure what happened to the imitation wood siding. And it’s yellow. [edit] It’s not a Squire, it’s a Country Sedan and I’m not sure where the dog dish hubcaps came from.

Yowza. Can’t tell the mileage with the five digit odo. It’s been around at least once. I always liked the two way tailgate. And no third row seats to waste space. But $29K for that? Pass.

An equivalent new wagon will set you back some $60K and won’t be body on frame.

Being under an aluminum rowboat in the rain might require very good earplugs.
