I can come for a while. I can’t play the piano! But I’d love to see y’all.

If I don't show up, you'll know it's because we have a power outage. We are in the bullseye for a strong storm system heading our way this afternoon right about the time the party starts. Atmosphere is set up for tornadoes above EF2, 2 inch plus hail, torrential rain (we already got over 2 inches last night) and thunder and lightning.

This is beginning to feel a little like the biblical plague thing....
Get that. Lemme know when the fogs start coming down.

You can check locusts off the list.

Depends on if you might have to stand up and walk away from the computer!

May play a banjo tune. Banjos require pants.
Cellos, not so much.

Is anyone recording it? (Zoom does recordings)

I just realized this was a Zoom meeting--I just assumed it was a thread discussing how a piano party was being cancelled.

My bad. Frowner

Might still be happening: I just left.

It was so nice to see and hear people, even friends I haven’t met in real life yet! I took a couple party pix.

I just signed off; I think things were kind of breaking up.

That was so much fun! It was good to actually see everyone.

We were experimenting a bit with the audio. Stringed instruments like the guitar and viola sounded best; the pianos tended to break up a little.

So I guess we all need to take up banjo, ukelele, guitar, cello, viola, or violin. Or the stringed instrument that Ax played that I didn't catch the name of.

Many thanks to Ax for setting this up. Hoping to do it again, and to have more folks join the party!!!
