We spent some quality time in the Rhineland a few years back. Wandered through the Ahr valley, had a meal in Arhweiler and enjoyed some of the wineries. The friends we were visiting have quite a relationship with the wine growers of the Ahr. Sad to see such destruction along the Ahr and Mosel, and in places like Trier. It'll take at least a decade to recover from this.
